Chapter 4 - Make Poverty History!

And David, despite his many inneptitudes, discovered a map proclaiming to all and sundry the total absense of anywhere called 'Edinburgh' in 'Hull', but put this down to a quirk of the space-time continuum and general mass-delusion upon the part of the citizens of where-ever he was. Realising this apparent failing he started to speak; 'all yee of Edinburgh <och> hear me now', he said. 'this is the time to end the fantasies, wake up to reality and realise its beauty'. 'no more, no more, yea I say, no more must you bury your heads in the sands; brush the sand from your eyes and embrace your scottish ancestry <och>', and then, having noticed the bewildered stares of his audience, and, feeling just a little bit like he was about to be trampled by a rampaging mass of pitch-fork and caber wielding scotts added 'and the make poverty history movement is great too' in a quiet voice before running, as fast and as far as his legs would take him.
